Of reading minds and assuming
Why do people think that we should assume on a certain situation?
He was blaming me for not getting it.
I really don't.
If there's one person that thinks less of a situation, that would be me.
I don't assume.
When we meet someone, we kinda- analyze and "categorize" them (as Alistair would say) do-able or not do-able in terms of relationship. You would know if he's your type or not, even if you just met him.
He was a do-able for me.. or atleast some of the characters I like in him. But there wasn't much signs of him being interested. So I dropped the thought.
I've known him for years now. And now that he knows I'm away and will be away again, he tells me something that just pisses me off.
Men. Why are they always late?
Or are we just too early?

We tend to be afraid to do things. Afraid to say what we truly feel, afraid that we won't get the response we want, afraid that we might get the response we want, afraid to lose something good, afraid that we might not be good enough. And then when we think we might lose the chance to actually say it, we try to cram everything into one tiny ball and then just throw it at the other person before it's too late. And why do we do that? Because we know we have nothing to lose. They'll be gone anyway.
Trouble there is we don't need people like that. We need to be with someone who is on the same plain that we are on, someone who is looking for what we're looking for as well. And if they try stuff like what you mentioned, be thankful you stayed out of the rain :-)

maybe you'll see each other in another world, when you are both cats, and that time.. it would be different. =)
