Malapascua Island, Cebu

I'll consider this trip as the trip of the year.

I never really like Cebu, maybe because of its Makati-like-impression of the City itself. But after this trip, Cebu is starting to make a good impression on me. There's more to explore outside the City.

Three hours drive to the pier and 30 minutes choppy boat ride after, we found ourselves in an awe of this beautiful island.

With the gang on our first dinner:

Maan, Reigh, Marissa, Jong, John, Henry, Monique and me.

Warning: Food on the island is either too spicy or on a weird sour taste. And it takes an hour (more or less) to serve 'em.

Yep, we dove, despite of the storm. We saw sharks! Thresher sharks, reef sharks, and white tip sharks... lots of 'em! Am a bit disappointed though that we weren't able to see the mantas, but then again, all those sharks made the dive trip worth it.

Can't wait for our next Cebu trip! We're looking at Moal Boal. :)
