Brushstrokes, et al..

This got me diggin' my creative skills. I've only known a few people who have this kind of passion, and I know I have it somewhere... sometimes. :)

Since almost everyone I know is into photography, I might as well dip my brush for some oil painting, for a change. I have to start from scratch though. It's been awhile since the last time I held a paintbrush, and my empty canvas has been sitting in my room for the quite some time now.

This was my first attempt on oil painting, spidey days.

uy, i started on pastel na!!! i'm doing still life for now and i'm having a great time! it's such a great release... to create something beautiful.

anyway, next week, i'm doing landscapes on pastel. and then i'll start on acrylic.

and if you can do oil painting already, i don't think you need me to teach you pastel. it's practically the same thing :)

have fun painting!

Rene, not so, the lines are crooked. hehe.. I was thinking of drawing wolverine before or maybe complete the justice league characters, then hang them all in one wall. :D Anyway, that's just the kid in me, let's stick to what you suggested. err, what was that again? :D

Albz, nakanaman! See, you're enjoying it! Good for you. I'd love to learn pastels too, pero dito muna ako sa may paintbrush. ;)

Now I've to go back on my readings and buy turpentine later.
