Hrm. I've been curious about how well Twitter works as a quick way of updating people without actually posting a full-blown blog entry... hmmmm...

Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown - Sunday

Went back to Infineon with Julie, a former co-worker from FamilyWonder.com to watch more of the motorcycle races, I managed to take a few more pictures.

Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown

Infineon Raceway in Sonoma County, the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown is underway, and I managed to catch the last 2 races for today. Pretty interesting, I had the D2X with me, and I was using the 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S G VR lens with the TC-2E 2x Teleconverter, it was awesome! The bikes move so quickly around the track that I had a little bit of trouble getting them fully in the frame.

After a few misses, I got my rythym, and I've posted a few choice shots at both my Flickr! account as well as my Multiply account.

I'll be going back tomorrow with some friends, and probably shooting some more. Hopefully, I get some more decent shots tomorrow.

Aperture and Flickr!

So I found a plugin for Aperture that will upload to my Flickr! account. I'm sure my family and friends will be happier now that they actually see the photos that I've been taking when we go out.

Revisiting Photography

Wow, two entries in quick succession, what is going on here?

Lately, I have been experiencing some weird revival with regards to my photography. I've been trying to find out why. Is it my coworkers asking me about photography and cameras? Is it my dad wanting to get back into photography? Is it a new camera? I really don't know. It could easily be all of the above. Or it could simply be just new gear excitement. But I'm harboring thoughts on shooting film... so wtf.

BTW, this format will probably disappear soon, to be replaced with something else. That is, if/when I get around to it. I've been toying around with the idea of setting up the main web site as a wiki for Philippine photography...

Back!

Well, after ages of not updating this blog, I've decided to start back up again. At least in some form or another.

I've started uploading pics again, this time making use of my pretty much stagnant Flickr Pro account, as well as mirroring some of it on Multiply page. The plan is to at least upload photos to Flickr. Possibly posting my thoughts about the photos here later on.
