Kan Zanam in the Dark

A couple of weeks back, we were celebrating 3 birthdays, Don T., Jerry and Mike. Dinner at an eat-all-you-can Japanese buffet restaurant in Daly City, and drinks at Kan Zanam on Haight Street in San Francisco.

Beer, Belly-dancers and food! And boy, was Kan Zanam dark! The camera was really struggling to find something to focus on. Here are some of the pictures from that night. I'm still trying to find other usable shots.

Shot using my D100 with ISO ratings from 1600-6400 with the 24mm f.2.8 AF-D lens. No flash.

There are a few more pictures, but they will take some work before they're ready.

Taken the day after Christmas while eating lunch with my dad at the restaurant at the top of the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Francisco. Mmmm... pan seared tuna.

Elmo!

Elmo invades downtown Pasadena, CA. One of the floats in the Annual Rose Bowl Parade was a Sesame St. float with Big Bird, Elmo and some other monster that I did not recognize.
