Panther
Finally, Panther was released to the world last Friday at 8pm. I was in class, but I wanted to go to the Apple Store in Palo Alto just to check it out, and maybe get myself a copy. But, driving past the store at 1030pm, the line was still out the door and around the corner! Forget it! I just went straight to the bar to meet my friends and my sis. Time to drink!
I finally got my copy last Saturday after class. But went to see Scary Movie 3. So I never got to install it until yesterday evening. I did the install twice, the first time as an "upgrade" and the second as a clean install, erasing the HD first.
Now, I'm working off a clean system, freshly reinstalled apps. Yum.

Frozen Hell
Well, iTunes is now available for Windows. And along with it, the iTunes Music Store. Now, Windows users can see what its like on the other side of the fence. Well, somewhat...
On a related note, I just bought an audiobook from the iTunes Music Store, and I'm listening to it now. This is the first time I've ever gotten an audio book, and so far, it's been pretty interesting. We'll see how it goes.

New Toys!!
Yup, after all the thinking, comparing, demoes and other stuff, I finally decided to get the toys to replace my aged Treo 180. I decided to breakup the happy marriage and use separate gadgets.
I bought the T3 last Thursday evening, and ordered the T610 that night as well. This morning the friendly UPS man delivered the T610. Fun!
Now, I have the Tungsten T3 and a Sony-Ericsson T610. I'm still trying to familiarize myself with the T610, since the last time I had an Ericsson phone was when I had the T28 World Phone over 2 years ago. And with the new Symbian OS on the phone, well, it's a whole new world!
I'm also setting up my Mac to sync my T3 and the T610 to the Address Book for my contact list... oh what fun! :)

Still confused...
Yes, I'm still confused. I still haven't decided. Not even after a cool overseas video chat demo of how the Palm Tungsten T, Sony-Ericsson T610 and a Powerbook work together via BlueTooth by Vic last night. He had me convinced, but then I wake up and find that I'm getting $200 off of the new Handspring Treo600 just to upgrade from my current Treo 180...
You have to admit, the new Tungsten T3 screen is sweeeeet. Not the first time a PDA could change from portrait to landscape, though. The Apple Newton MessagePad 2000 could do that too, then again that was a greyscale screen. Maybe I should stick to my old Newton MessagePad 110 and a Nokia 5110? Hehehe...
And now, I've got a headache. Damn.

Blog Spamming
Wow, I woke up this morning to something new. Spam in the comments section of my blog! He had posted links to a Viagra website. Needless to say, I spent about 30-45 minutes this morning deleting all the damned Viagra comments from the blog...
So, to prevent a recurrence, I've blocked his IP address. But for whatever good it will do, since he seems to be a DSL subscriber somewhere in Iowa. Geez.
Comments will now only be enabled on blog entries on the front page. Comments will be disabled as soon as they move off the main page. Grrrrr...
