Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown

Infineon Raceway in Sonoma County, the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown is underway, and I managed to catch the last 2 races for today. Pretty interesting, I had the D2X with me, and I was using the 70-200mm f/2.8 AF-S G VR lens with the TC-2E 2x Teleconverter, it was awesome! The bikes move so quickly around the track that I had a little bit of trouble getting them fully in the frame.

After a few misses, I got my rythym, and I've posted a few choice shots at both my Flickr! account as well as my Multiply account.

I'll be going back tomorrow with some friends, and probably shooting some more. Hopefully, I get some more decent shots tomorrow.
