Soul Food

Sooo, Thess and I were IMing the other day about good places to eat near our respective places of employment, and I happened to mention "Soul Food." And the next IM I get is "Kain tayo dun bukas?" (Let's eat there tomorrow?).

The House of Soul Food is located in the Santa Clara area, very near the San Jose Airport. It's a hard place to just accidentally discover, since the area where it is located isn't exactly well known for having restaurants. It's a good thing one of my friends at Cisco took me there for lunch once.

I had the Catfish and Snapper combo, with Potato salad, corn bread and tar tar sauce... Thess ordered the same thing, but instead of corn bread, elected to get Hush Puppies. Carisa on the other hand, I believe, had the Catfish, Hush Puppies and Yams.
